Colour Range (D - F)

Colour Grade D

D Grade Diamonds are absolutely colourless and they are highest quality colour-grade available. D-graded diamonds are extremely rare and emit unrivalled brilliance.

Colour Grade E

These diamonds are colourless with only minute traces of colour. E-graded diamonds are also rare, and emit high levels of brilliance.

Colour Grade F

F grade diamonds are also colourless with minute traces of colour. They can only be detected by a trained gemmologist.

Colour Range (G - J)

Colour Grade G, H

This diamonds have noticeable colour only when compared with higher colour-graded diamonds. Otherwise, both grades appear colourless to the untrained eye and are of excellent value.

Colour Grade I, J

Diamonds in this grade has slightly detectable colour. Both grades also typically appear colourless to the untrained eye and are of excellent value.

Colour Grade K, L, M

Diamonds in this colour grade have faint colour visible to the naked eye. However, even with colour presence, these diamonds can still emit fire and beauty. At Michael Trio, we do not offer L and M colour diamonds.
