Are there any restricted zones/areas in Singapore that you do not deliver to?

We deliver islandwide locally except to army camps, hotels, and the following restricted areas: Airline Road, Airport Cargo Road, Alps Avenue, Brani Terminal Avenue, Changi Airport (only areas with restricted access), Jurong Island, Kusu Island, Pulau Damar Laut, Pulau Busing, Pulau Tekong, Pulau Sakeng, Pulau Sebarok, Pulau Ubin, Rifle Range, Seletar Aerospace, St John Island, Turn Club Avenue, and West Camp Road.

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping is free for all products. Michael Trio provides quick and efficient shipping, with full insurance coverage to all shipping destinations.

All items will be packaged securely and will be fully insured while in transit to your destination. International customers will be responsible for any duties, VAT, taxes or surcharges levied or charged by their country. Please check with local authorities prior to placing your order to confirm taxes and duties.

Shipping methods and duration

We currently offer 2 delivery options so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

1. FREE Standard shipping: Deliver within 5-7 working days (Excluding Season Periods) upon dispatch. Once shipped, a tracking number will be provided to you upon request. Please remember a signature will be required upon delivery.
2. FREE Store collection: If you prefer to pick up your purchase from our showroom, please indicate your preferred pick-up showroom location on the checkout page. Our sales representative will get in touch with you once your product is ready for collection.

Loose diamonds are shipped immediately after passing inspection. You'll see an estimated shipping and delivery date for each product on every product details page. These can also be seen in your account dashboard and order confirmation email. Hereafter, you can expect your delivery within the above timeframes.

Are your shipments secure?

Yes. Our items are fully insured during transit and all purchases require a signature upon delivery. To keep our customers protected, Michael Trio always:

1. Insure and register all items for their full value
2. Use only reliable shipping service for all orders to ensure that your package will be delivered in the fastest and safest manner
3. Require that all deliveries be made to a physical business or residential address
4. Prohibit delivery to PO Box address
5. Require a signature for all packages upon delivery

What if my jewellery gets lost during shipment?

Michael Trio takes every precaution to ensure that your order arrives safely. Your order will be fully insured during transit, and we require a signature for all packages.

I haven’t received my order. Who can I contact?

Your estimated delivery date will be in your order confirmation email & your account dashboard - please allow until this date for your order to arrive. Kindly take note that your parcel will take at least 5-7 working days (Excluding Season Periods) to arrive upon dispatch.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. International orders over $500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority or DHL Express. International orders under $500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy or Singpost.

I'd like to place an international order. Do I pay customs fees to Michael Trio or the courier?

When you place an international order, we will ship it to you for free. Once the package arrives in your country, the courier will contact you to collect any taxes or duties. Shipping is done via FedEx International Priority/UPS Worldwide Express for orders over S$500 in value and usually takes two to three days. Packages valued below S$500 are sent via Singpost.

Return And Exchange Policy

Can I request for a return?

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, Michael Trio offers a 14-day return guarantee for eligible online orders, subject to the conditions below.

Please note: products purchased during promotional periods, exclusive campaigns, or flash sales are not eligible for cash refunds, store credits, or exchanges unless otherwise stated. Custom-made or special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

999 Gold and 916 Gold items are only eligible for return or exchange within 5 days from the date of purchase, subject to item condition and approval.

Items purchased through third-party e-commerce platforms or marketplaces must have all return and exchange requests processed directly through the respective platform. Such requests cannot be handled at Michael Trio retail stores.

In-store exchange policy

For in-store purchases, we accept exchanges for eligible items within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt at any Michael Trio store.

For 999 Gold and 916 Gold items, exchanges or returns must be made within 5 days of purchase.

Items must be returned in original purchase condition, unused, undamaged, and with all accompanying documentation. Items showing signs of wear, misuse, or alterations by any jeweller other than Michael Trio will not be accepted.

If the item was sold with a diamond report, the original report must be returned. Replacement report charges will apply if it is not provided.

Custom-made or special-order items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Engraving fees are non-refundable. Charges may apply for engraving removal during return or exchange.

For engagement ring setting changes, an administrative fee from $165 applies, covering stone resetting and re-polishing of the original setting.

Online Exchange & Return Policy

For eligible purchases made directly through Michael Trio's website, we accept returns or exchanges within 14 days from the delivery date.

For 999 Gold and 916 Gold items, returns or exchanges must be requested within 5 days from the delivery date.

Returns must reach us within the applicable return period. Return shipping, insurance, duties, or related fees (where applicable) are borne by the customer.

Items must be returned unused, undamaged, in original condition, and with all product documentation.

If supplied with a diamond report, the original report must be returned. Replacement report charges apply if missing.

To exchange for another item, we recommend returning the original item (if eligible) and placing a new order. Refund processing may take up to two weeks.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please refuse delivery or contact us immediately at +65 6299 0110. Claims for damaged or missing items must be made immediately or within 5 days of receipt.

Michael Trio is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments not arranged by us.

Custom-made or special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Engraving fees are non-refundable. Charges may apply for engraving removal.

Administrative charges may apply for refunds of online purchases.

If an item was delivered with a diamond report, the return must be accompanied by the original laboratory grading report. Otherwise, customers will bear the cost for a replacement report.

Drop your parcel off at any of our Singapore showrooms within 14 days from the delivered date. Our Diamond & Jewellery Consultant will assist you further for the refund/exchange process.

Initiate your return. Call +6562990110 to speak with our Diamond & Jewellery Consultant or email us at [email protected]. You will receive a return code as well as detailed instructions for returning your order.

Arrange shipping and insurance. You may return your item(s) using the carrier of your choice. We recommend sending your return via our preferred Parcel Pro insured FedEx or UPS carrier. Please be sure to confirm that you insure your jewellery to the value that was paid. Customers will be responsible for any return shipping costs and insurance fees.

Package your item(s) securely in the original packing materials. Clearly write your return code on the outside of the shipping box you are returning. If your return is for refund or exchange, please include any diamond grading report(s) or appraisal(s). Diamond grading report(s) and appraisal(s) are not required for repairs and resizes. If an item was delivered with a diamond report, the return must be accompanied by the original laboratory grading report. Otherwise, customers will bear the cost of a replacement report. For security reasons, do not write Michael Trio anywhere on the outside of the box.

How long does it take for a returned parcel to be processed?

Once your return is received into our system, you will receive a confirmation email. Your return will be inspected by our quality assurance team. If there are any questions regarding your return, we will contact you. After inspection, your return will be fully processed.

Returns will be processed within 14 business days (not inclusive of weekends and Singapore public holidays) from the date we receive your return.

We will drop an email update once your return has been processed.

Will there be any fees associated with my return?

Returns will be free of charge if you drop them off at any of our showrooms. You are only liable for any return shipping costs and insurance fees if the return is done through mail.

Which Credit Card(s) can I use for installment payment?

Currently, Michael Trio only accepts UOB Credit Card installment option for 6 months or 12 months interest-free installments. However, do take note that payment through installments can only be processed for purchases made at our showroom, and is not applicable for online purchase.

Deposit Policy

How long do I have to collect my item before the deposit is forfeited?

You have 90 days from the date we notify you that your item is ready for collection. If the item is not collected within this period, the deposit will be automatically forfeited.

Orders And Ring Sizes

How do I find my ring size?

We provide complimentary ring-sizers to help you determine your ring size. You may request a ring-sizer here. For alternative ways to find your ring size, you may find your ring size here.

How tight should a ring be?

Proper ring size will fit comfortably snug, but will resist just a bit when slid over the knuckle. It should take 2-3 seconds to slide it over the knuckle and this is normal, especially with men who typically have larger knuckles. If you size your ring to your knuckle, it will be too big on your finger.

What if I need to resize my ring?

We offer a complimentary 60-day resizing service for all engagement rings purchased online or in-store, except for eternity rings and tension rings. Please note that resizing is only available for changes of one full size—half sizes are not eligible.

How long will the customisation process take?

Good things are worth the wait! Your customized ring will take approximately 8-12 weeks depending on the level of customization required.

What is the process of jewellery customisation?

1. Consultation
Arrange for an appointment virtually or at any of our 3 showrooms. Feel free to bring along any materials that will help us better understand your ideal design. Need some help in your ideation process? Fret not, as we have a collection of sample products at our showrooms that might just give you some inspiration.

2. Design
Upon confirmation of the design, a deposit will be required and our designer will begin sketching the design in accordance with your preference. Once completed, a sketch of your customised item will be shared for final approval.

3. Casting and Setting
Once the design is approved, production of your customised jewellery will commence and all you have to do is sit back and relax!

Diamond Exchange Policy

Can I exchange the diamond I chose after placing a deposit at the store?

Absolutely! At Michael Trio, we want every customer to be thrilled with their choice. If, after placing a deposit, you feel the need to change another diamond, we provide a service for diamond exchange requests, which comes with associated costs.

*Certain diamonds are not eligible for the diamond exchange policy, do check with our consultants.

Here are the details:
  • Additional Cost:
    • There will be an additional cost associated with exchanging the diamond. This cost includes administrative charges and is calculated based on the following:
    • Admin Charges: $100 or 5% of the diamond value (whichever is higher).

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer service team. We’re here to make your diamond selection experience enjoyable and stress-free. This policy is only applicable to purchases made in any of Michael Trio’s showrooms.

Can treated diamonds be refunded, exchanged, or upgraded?

All treated diamonds, whether purchased in-store or online, are strictly sold on a no-refund, no-exchange, and no-upgrade basis. Due to the difficulty in reselling treated diamonds, this policy is strictly non-negotiable.

Diamond Upgrade Policy

How does Michael Trio’s Diamond Upgrade Programme work?

At Michael Trio, we are delighted to offer a Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Programme for our valued customers. Here’s how it works:

Depreciation Structure:

The trade-in value of your diamond is based on the time since purchase (excluding GST):

  • 0–2 Years: 80% of original diamond value
  • 2–4 Years: 70% of original diamond value
  • 4 Years onwards: 60% of original diamond value
Regardless of purchase date, the selected replacement diamond must be at least 2 times (2×) the value of the original diamond, calculated before taxes. For further details or assistance, please feel free to contact our dedicated Customer Service Team.

Can I upgrade any diamond?

Any Certified Earth Natural Diamonds purchased directly from Michael Trio is eligible for the Diamond Upgrade Programme. Please note that natural treated diamonds do not qualify for the upgrade policy.

How do I determine the price of my new diamond?

Your new certified replacement diamond will have to be of at least 2X or greater in value. For example, a $5,000 diamond can be upgraded to a diamond that costs $10,000. The original diamond that is traded in must be in the original condition, accompanied by the original laboratory grading report. Otherwise, customers will bear the cost of a replacement report.

What if I found a comparable diamond at a lower price after my purchase from Michael Trio?

The Diamond Price Match Programme only applies before you purchase your Michael Trio diamond. If, for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Michael Trio, you may choose to return your diamond within 14-days from the purchase date.

What is considered a comparable diamond?

A comparable diamond must possess the same characteristics (cut, colour, clarity, carat, and fluorescence) as the Michael Trio diamond to which you are comparing. Michael Trio reserves the right to review your request and decide, in sole discretion, whether the diamond is comparable.

Can the comparable diamond be from any diamond retailer?

We accept price comparisons from all local retail competitors who are authorised Singapore-based diamond retailers in order to ensure ethical sourcing. We will also price match diamonds sold by major online retailers internationally. The diamond in comparison must be in stock and available for purchase at a lower price at the time of your request.

How do I show proof of the lower price?

You will be required to provide a copy of the diamond’s GIA or IGI grading report (issued within the last year) together with proof of the lower price offered.

What if the comparable diamond is no longer in stock?

The lower-priced diamond has to be in stock and available for purchase at the time of your request. Expired offers will not be eligible for price comparison.

Gold Trade In Policy

Does Michael Trio offer a gold trade-in policy?

We are pleased to offer a trade-in policy for Michael Trio gold products crafted in 999 or 916 gold. Only Michael Trio gold products (999/916) are eligible, with trade-in value determined based on the gold weight (in grams) at the current market price, excluding taxes such as GST and workmanship costs, and an 18% deduction of the gold price.

Gold products in all conditions, including damaged items like crumpled gold foil, are accepted, subject to verification and evaluation. However, severe damages may impact eligibility or require further inspection.

All items must be weighed using Michael Trio's standardized equipment before the trade-in process is finalized. The trade-in value cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used toward purchases at Michael Trio. If the new purchase is of lesser gold weight than the trade-in value, no refunds or cash balances will be provided, and any balance exceeding the trade-in value must be topped up. Both the trade-in and the purchase must be completed on the same day, as trade-in value does not carry over.

Proof of purchase or authentication will be required to verify eligibility. Michael Trio reserves the right to amend or terminate this policy at any time without prior notice.

At Michael Trio, our Lifetime Warranty is a testament to our commitment to excellence. We stand behind our creations, covering any possible defects in the original design or workmanship for a lifetime. Our warranty encompasses errors in the original product design, issues with materials used (such as metal type or color), and functional defects arising from workmanship. It’s important to note that while our warranty addresses manufacturer’s defects, it does not extend to routine maintenance such as polishing or damages resulting from normal wear and tear over time, misuse, or accidents. For any maintenance requirements or damages falling outside the scope of our Lifetime Warranty, there may be an additional charge to ensure your treasured piece continues to shine and endure beautifully.

Our lifetime warranty offers free cleaning & inspection service, prong tightening, and diamond upgrades.

Need additional services not covered by our lifetime warranty?

In the event that your jewellery requires services not covered under our lifetime warranty, your jewellery may be mailed back to our office for evaluation*. Once inspected, should charges apply, you will be notified prior to any work being performed to service your jewellery.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to return your item(s) to take advantage of our free lifetime warranty or request additional repair work needed to service your Michael Trio jewellery.

* To send us your jewellery, Singapore customers may drop it off at one of our stores. International customers will be subject to return shipping costs applicable to their order. We will ship your item back to you free of charge.
