Diamond Cut
CHOOSE A DIAMOND CUT:
Good cut: Quality at a lower price than a very good cut, still producing a beautiful diamond for the budget-minded.
Very Good cut: Very slightly less measurable fire or sparkle than an ideal cut diamond, at a more affordable price.
Excellent cut: Highest cut grade. Its proportions produce a beautiful balance of fire and sparkle in a diamond.
Pure Hearts cut: Top 1% of diamond quality - with precise proportions, polish and symmetry = allowing the diamond to reflect even more light than the standard Ideal cut.
Diamond Colour
CHOOSE A COLOUR GRADE:
There is a hint of yellow tint that can be observed with the naked eye without any comparison.
Near Colourless: The yellow tints are insignificant. Color may be detectable when compared to much higher "colourless" grades.
Colourless: None or minute traces of color, but can only be detected by expert gemologist. usually set with platinum or white gold settings.
Diamond Clarity
CHOOSE A CLARITY GRADE:
Slightly Included (SI1, SI2 & SI3): Contains noticeable inclusions under 10x magnification, including clouds, knots, crystals, cavities, and feathers.
Very Slight Included (VS1 & VS2): Contains minute inclusions, such as clouds, crystals, or feathers, which are difficult to locate with 10x magnification.
Very Very Slight Included (VVS1 & VVS2): Contains minute inclusions that are extremely difficult to locate under 10 x magnifications.
Flawless, Internally flawless (FL & IF): Contains no internal inclusions when viewed with 10x magnification. Internally Flawless diamonds may contain external characteristics (also known as blemishes).
